Welcome to Back in Time Cycles, founded by two men who are passionate for the vintage and original sculptures of the 1940’s Harley Davidson.
Our story:
In 1981 I was a 10 year old kid with long hair who saw his first picture of a 1948 Pan Head in a book at my school library. I can remember that moment to this day, as I truly believe it changed my life forever. Fast forward to 2018 upon approaching my 14th year buying and selling late model Harley Davidson’s, along with logging 150,000 + miles on 2 wheels under my behind, I decided to make my passion a reality.
One of the amazing things about being a biker outside of the freedom on the road is the wonderful people you end up meeting who become lifelong friends. One person who crossed my path was Master Builder, Sonny Heflin, whom I’ve known for the last 7+ years. Sonny not only owned his own custom motorcycle build shop in Maryland, he has also had his builds grace the covers of magazines like Easy Rider, Hot Bike, V-Twin, American Iron and other publications. The best part of our friendship was our shared passion for the 1940’s body style of a Harley Davidson.
We always knew one day we would find ourselves in business together. We both appreciate each other’s business etiquette and the feedback from our customers and community about our integrity, honesty and knowledge of the industry. We hold ourselves to high standards in not cutting corners and will make sure that every custom motorcycle we will build would be as if we were building it for our own fathers or children.

Back in Time Cycles is a true Frame Up Resto Mod Harley Davidson built with the looks and flare of the 1940’s sculptures while providing the rider reliability and horsepower of today’s cruisers. We build and fabricate everything in shop; there is no plastic bolt on pieces on our custom builds. We were chosen by American Iron Magazine as the top builder for the American Classic in 2019 and won 4 of the 6 biker build off competitions our 1st time out on the circuit at Daytona Beach Bike Week 2019. We will NEVER be satisfied with just building your bike. We will continue to develop and create the best built new vintage bike the world has ever seen and that’s our promise to you!

Every Back in Time Cycles  builds will have the following:
*True Softail Frames with Clear Harley Davidson original Frame & Title. (Full insurance value compared to Assembled by Parts (ASPT) title which holds NO VALUE. All frames are powder coated along with swing-arm before any build.)

*S & S Brand New Crate Motor 96’ CUI (110 HP) standard.

Our mission for Back in Time Cycles  is to let the world of vintage motorcycle lovers have the opportunity to own a piece of art that they can ride 5,000-10,000 miles per year while being the center of attention anywhere they pull up on their Back in Time Cycle.
